Resistor leg twisted around the positive leg of an LED.

  You will need:

  • 4 socket-socket jumper wires
  • 3 resistors
  • 1 RGB LED
  • Electrical tape (ideally in 4 colours)

construction Add resistors

  • Wrap each of the R, G and B legs with a resistor.
  • Secure each resistor with electrical tape.

  • Add electrical tape and four socket-socket jumper wires.

bug_report Test your wired LED

  • Connect the GND leg to a GND pin.
  • Connect the R, G and B legs one at a time to the 3V3 pin.
  • Strengthen your connections with electrical tape if needed.
